I attended 2 games last week. Thursday night vs Toronto where it was ridiculously HUMID and we won 1-0, and then Sunday afternoon, which we lost 6-3. We sat in the shade of the wonderful homerun porch on Sunday, and were surrounded by Dodgers fans. BOOOO. Still had a nice time despite the ugly loss. GO RANGERS!

Still on my workout/diet….it’s going pretty good. I feel great. I have already put on 7 pounds. Have to stay focused!
Yes, I am going on a diet. The twist is that it is not to lose weight, but to gain weight. I somehow lost 20 to 25 pounds over the past year, due to stress and working conditions. With the majority of the weight loss coming over last summer, this summer I am taking a preemptive strike against the blistering Texas heat and the warehouse and cook room of our company by going on a high-calorie intake diet. Wish me luck.

Well, it was another great weekend in Arlington. Today’s game was sort of a letdown, but the Rangers still tried to pull it out in the end and just came up short on a fluke HR. We took 3 out of 4 and are on a roll heading to New York and Boston. I went to the doubleheader on Friday and had a great time sitting in the front row behind the Rangers bullpen. It was fascinating to watch the activities of the bullpen. Here is a picture from my phone (because I forgot to take my camera!) of the bullpen from where I was sitting.
I love to make graphics/edit photos/etc. If only I had some kind of use for them or somewhere to post them…oh wait, my blog! Haha, but seriously, somewhere where someone would actually see them instead of this blog that probably no one will ever look at.
